The game is, imo, very bad optimized, i have 8 cores with the 9700k and only 2 are really used, one ot 95% and the other at 35%, i've 16 gb ram, the game always use around about 2,8-3 Gb so is not an issue of lack of hardware, is the game how is coded.A macro is a script that can be programmed to activate multiple keys simultaneously or in quick succession. I don't like the smell of hot air from my case. This is the only game that stress so much my system that every hour or so i'm force to open the case window and leave the game because i'm afraid something can burn.
My GPU is RTX 2060 Super and is barely used, using gpu-z it stay at 40-41☌ degree with my 60 fps monitor, while is the cpu that took all the wrok, i get around 45-50 ☌ with a Freezer 34 esport duo air cooler, a lot of hot hair come out from my exaust fans from top and back. Same cpu as you, but no matter how much i try, the game drop in fps expecially in the latest maps (more detailed), and during meta events and world bosses.ĭecreasing players and gear quality to lowest for both options improve a bit but not so much, and i have everything else to low or none too. If you gonna need some help with GW2Hook - PM me. Shadows-OFF, Reflections-Terrain&Sky, Character Model Limit Lowest-Medium and in critical situations(world bosses,events,wvw, maybe raids) Character Model Quality set to Lowest. All you can do is adjust your graphics settings for every situation. It has always been a problem in GW2 unfortunately. Overall you shouldn't expect smooth 60FPS in all places. THIS is a small example of what you should expect (I'm at work now, this is the only of my screenshots, which I got atm).
With GW2Hook game will have beautiful colors, textures will be sharper and since you won't use default postprocessing - you will gain some performance (not much, but it's still a gain). It is possible with GW2Hook (or ReShade, but I have never used it). It will give a significant performance boost, especially knowing that your CPU is capable of going up to 5.1GHz (with decent cooling).
